The SIGNIFICANCE 
and RELEVANCE Of GEODESIC DOMES 
and SYNERGETIC-ENERGETIC GEOMETRY


At this moment in history,
we find our resources to be finite,
while our ability to reproduce seems infinite. 



Climate change , 
and resulting  food and water crisis
along with depletion of jungles and forests
place the world's population in peril.

Is our species doomed,
either due to the collision course 
of Need and Availability 
or by Natural Calamity 
or by Greed and Ignorance?

Some people think we are.



Another school of thought proposes 
that we can engineer ourselves 
out of our predicaments
by doing more and more 
with less and less. 

Bucky Fuller
was one of the most vocal exponents 
of the latter positive, proactive approach.



It is his contention, 
that "Ephemeralization"
is an evolutionary trend 
and that working with this trend,  
we as a species, 
have a glowing future, 
in which everyone 
has what they need
to grow and flourish.

The result of this outlook 
and his tremendous energy, perseverance and enthusiasm
is a collection of invention including 
(perhaps most famously) 
the Geodesic Dome. 



The geodesic dome 
offers the potential 
to enclose cities 
under one 
"clear-span" 
environmental control enclosure; 
harvesting for its inhabitants 
more energy than it uses . 

It is the potential 
to house 
all of humanity 
by giving us 
a materially efficient 
and very effective
technological artifact,
that makes the geodesic dome 
so important. 

Geodesic Domes can provide Humanity 
with very high speed responce 
to shelter needs....

But only when a high quality dome
of sustainable design
is mass produced,
then delivered, erected and serviced
by a well trained team, 
having been ordered and paid for on line...
will the Geodesic Dome 
approach its potential.
