WALK-THRU OPENINGS

Walk thru openings are readily fabricated by using tetrahedronal framing around the edges. Ideally, at least one of the edges of the tetrahedron is geodesic with respect to the dome. However, practical experience has shown this isn't necessary and other design criteria may take precedence such as the purpose of the opening and the availability of a given strut size.
